Morning has broken

"Morning has broken, like the first morning
Blackbird has spoken, like the first bird
"Praise for the singing, praise for the morning
Praise for the springing fresh from the word

"Sweet the rain's new fall, sunlit from heaven
Like the first dewfall, on the first grass
"Praise for the sweetness of the wet garden
Sprung in completeness where his feet pass
"Mine is the sunlight, mine is the morning
Born of the one light, Eden saw play
"Praise with elation, praise every morning
God's recreation of the new day." -- By Eleanor Farjeon
"For what I recieved I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, and that he appeared to Peter, and then to the Twelve.
"After that, he appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers at the same time, most of whom are still living, though some have fallen asleep. Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles, and last of all he appeared to me also as to one abnormally born.
"For I am the least of the apostles and do not even deserve to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.
"But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect." I Corinthians 15:3-10
